VASJ senior point guard Jerry Higgins will continue his academic and basketball career at The Citadel. Higgins made the announcement via his Twitter account on April 18. The Varsity Boys Baseball team were able to gain a split in back-to-back games against Independence on Friday and Saturday. VASJ senior Chris Boykin had a busy and productive afternoon at the Mansfield Mehock Relays on April 14. Competing against a strong field, Boykin qualified for the finals in three individual events – the 100, 200 and long jump – and was the lead runner on the 4×200 relay that placed 9th.
