Vikings News · VASJ BOYS BASKETBALL – Vikings fall at Benedictine

A slow start was too much to overcome for VASJ in a 94-68 loss at Benedictine on Jan. 24.

The Bengals set the tone early in front of the home crowd, outscoring the Vikings, 26-8, in the first quarter.

VASJ cut a 21-point second-quarter deficit to 12, but Benedictine went to the half with a 38-21 edge.

Jaden Hameed led the Vikings with 23 points. Jonah Waag added 13.

VASJ (5-8) will try to stop a rare four-game losing streak when the Vikings travel to Hawken on Jan. 25.
