The Vikings used a big second quarter to jump out to a 33-23 lead at the half.
The host Ironmen roared back in the third to take a 49-46 advantage to the fourth quarter.
CCC closed the victory with a 21-13 edge in the fourth quarter.

“We were up 10 at half and probably should have been up more. Jordan Duke made great adjustments at the half – I did not,” VASJ coach Babe Kwasniak said. “For as young as we are (CCC has 11 seniors to our 1) I have to provide the experience and I’m just doing a very poor job.
“This one stings pretty bad – I am letting my kids and our school down. We are improving, we just have to practice better to earn the right to win some of these big games. They are all big in this league.
“It’s going to be a great week to find out what we are made of next week at Benedictine.”
VASJ, which played without guard BK Kwasniak, fell to 5-7 on the season.
