The Lady Vikings Softball Team opened the 2019 season yesterday with an 18-11 loss against Cardinal. The game was called in the 6th inning due to visibility and the score was considered final after the 5th inning.
Leading the way for the Vikings was Kimani Ball who registered 2 hits and drove in 2 runs. Also contributing at the plate was Lucy Vidmar with 2 singles and an RBI and scored twice. Emmy Rowell scored 3 runs for the Vikings and Caroline Monaco crossed the plate twice.
The Viking Softball Team returns to the field on Wednesday March 27th as they take on Brush High School at Sam Nader Field in Euclid. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30pm
