The Vikings Boys Volleyball team fought hard in their second match of the season but could not do enough to hold off Brecksville-Broadview Heights in five sets. Inexperience played against the Vikings as they dropped the fourth and fifth sets to end the match against the Bees.
Jeremy Neylon led the team with 12 kills, followed by Latrace Jackson with six. Henry Spear had 14 assists. Although the Vikings are inexperienced, their youth will come to be an asset as there is only one senior on the roster.
“We have a lot to work on fundamentally, but we have the pieces in place to really make some noise in the coming months,” says Head Coach Rytas Petriatis ’10.
The Vikings will have a week off until their next game against St. Ignatius on Thursday, April 5.
