Four VASJ runners finished in the top 5 at the NCL White Division Meet on Oct. 14 to lead the Vikings to the team title in the league.
Led by third-place finisher freshman David Hoffman, who was one of only three runners in the division to break 20 minutes, the Vikings took three of the top five spots in the conference meet.
Hoffman finished in 19:43.14. Behind him were sophomores Dylan Barnett (20:05.45), Philip Davis (20:22.84) and Davante Callahan (21:15.26).
Deonte Warren finished in seventh to round out the scoring runners for VASJ. Matthew Fronczek and Daylen Sanders were right behind in eighth and ninth for the Vikings.
VASJ finished with 21 points to easily top Trinity, Cleveland Central Catholic and St. Thomas Aquinas for the White Division championship.
